Muted Trumpet, Slide Trombone
Brian White Home Page
Brian WhiteThe  idea of a CD's worth of my own compositions had been on my  mind for a long time before I mentioned it to Alan Gresty.  After an initial get-together he took to the project with  great enthusiasm and this was followed by smiling nods of  approval from the rest of the band. CDs of tunes written by  a single, little known, composer are not the stuff upon which fortunes are made. It therefore cames as a welcome  vote of confidence when Paul Adames of Lake Records decided  to go along with the idea. Although my name is attached to  all of the tunes I must pay tribute to the co-writers of  some of them. Alan Gresty, Floyd Levin and Pam Sadovy have  all left their individual marks on tunes that may well have  withered away without their input.

Having listened to this fabulous recording and met Alan Gresty on a visit to perth WA, he also did co-presenter on my radio programme I can honetsly say the music is some of the best I've heard in a long time, more so as the tunes are all written by Brian White and Alan.
