Ken Colyer
The Lost 1954 Royal Festival Hall Tapes
Ken Colyer Home Page
Although the concert heard on this important CD was one of the first Jazzmen's final major appearances together, this was not the end of the Colyer/Barber musical relationship by any means as Ken was to guest with Chris's band in later years for reunion concerts and they occasionally teamed up for brass band work at festivals. Although they went on to establish their individual musical identities as bandleaders they also shared a great deal in common through their love of the music in all its facets.
