Bob Greene
Bob GreeneBob Greene, after a long career as a writer and musician, Bob Greene retired to Amagansett but has returned to the music world to play in a trio with two other long time musicians. After stealing the show at the 1969 New Orleans Jazz Festival with two Jelly Roll Morton piano solos, Greene recreated Jelly Roll Morton’s 1928 band with some of the same musicians. The result was a decade of world tours, recordings and popular and critical acclaim. Andy Aledort is Senior Editor of the world’s best selling guitar magazine, GUITAR WORLD, author of over 200 instructional and transcription books and producer of instructional videos. He has appeared as a sideman with both rock and jazz legends and fronts his own ensemble, Andy Aledort & the Groove Kings. John Bucher has been playing jazz cornet in the New York area for over 50 years. For nearly 25 years he played every Monday at Michael’s Pub in NYC with Woody Allen’s New Orleans Orchestra. In the 70’s he performed and recorded with his own band. Over the years he has played and recorded with numerous jazz luminaries.
