David B Hooten

Grammy and Emmy nominated musician and born into an Air Force family, trumpeter, David B. Hooten was born in Frascati, Italy, and grew up in various cities in the United States and Europe. As a scholarship student, David received his degree in music education from North Texas State University, where he studied with Dr. Leonard Canderlaria. Two years later, he earned his Master''s degree in music performance from the University of Oklahoma where he studied with Dr. Jacob Larson. David is currently a trumpet soloist residing in Oklahoma City. His busy schedule includes appearances all year throughout the world as a guest trumpet soloist in recitals and with symphony orchestras.
